Formerly a monastery and an Ambassador's residence, this 16th Century Palazzo is now a luxury hotel and hidden away from the tourist heartland in the 'real' Venice of the Canneregio district.
This area is one of the few parts of the city where Venetians still live in great numbers and one of the last parts of the historic center of Venice to be developed.
The hotel has one of the largest private gardens in Venice and overlooks the Blue Lagoon.
